One of the Service oriented functions of the Power Squadrons is Cooperative Charting, where teams go out and survey various sea and land locations, and report it to the NOAA, so that the maps and Coast Pilot can be updated.
The weekend of November 11-13 November, Lake Charles and Sabine Squadrons hosted a District 21 Cooperative Charting event. Friday night boat assignments were signed up and Lake Charles had a delicious meal of crab and oyster soup, and a red fish dish to die for. The next morning it turned a little chilly as you can see the crew on Gremillion’s boat are bundled.
Our Saturday write up session was at the Page Camp on the River. D/C Jerry Madden is pictured with

A big thank you to Lake Charles and the Sabine Squadron for a great weekend.
